SHADOW WORK SESSIONS
I offer a call of up to 45 minutes to discuss any questions you may have about shadow work and what this work could offer you.
The process
This is deep emotional process work where you are invited to embody different parts of yourself. Sessions vary between 5 hours and 3 hours. In a 5 hour session we will spend the first hour discussing what inner shift you'd like from the session. I will then have a good understanding of what you are wanting for yourself in our time together, and I will guide you and support you in exploring the shadows relevant to the issue you've brought. We will then spend an hour discussing your family history and past experiences that are relevant to the change you are wanting for yourself. We then have an opportunity to begin with what we call 'carpet work'.
Carpet work
There is a carpet in the room that represents your inner world. You will be invited to choose a coloured cloth to represent a part of yourself that you'd like to explore and then to step onto the carpet to inhabit this aspect of yourself fully so that you can get to know this part of yourself in-depth.
You may choose to explore parts of yourself that you are comfortable and familiar with, and you may choose to explore parts of yourself that you feel shame or guilt about, or parts of yourself that are unfamiliar to you. The session is led by you, which means we explore what you want to explore, and at a pace that feels right for you. This makes the work very effective and safe, and it takes us straight to the root of the cause.
“The wound is where the light enters you.”

Length of session
The sessions I offer vary between 3 and 5 hours with the initial session usually lasting 5 hours or two 3 hour sessions.
I work with clients on a longer term basis or short term as the individual requires. Many people choose to have a 5 hour shadow work session monthly or a 3 hour session fortnightly. And some people come to the work for a one off session to work on something specific.
